Skupina NO NAME BLUES BAND je na glasbeni sceni prisotna že večc let. Začcetki delovanja skupine segajo v leto 1993, ko je skupina začcela delovati pod imenom NO NAME BAND. V tem čcasu je skupina gojila predvsem zvrst country-rock glasbe in uspešno nastopala v Sloveniji kakor tudi v tujini. ČClani skupine so v večcini ostali nespremenjeni vse do danes. Sicer pa imajo čclani skupine glasbene izkušnje še iz čcasov pred ustanovitvijo in sicer iz različcnih glasbenih zvrsti.
V letu 1999 je skupina nekoliko spremenila glasbeno usmerjenost in s tem tudi ime, tako da je imenu dodala BLUES, kar je tudi zdajšnja osnovna usmeritev delovanja skupine. Skupino pa je dopolnil še nov čclan na ustni harmoniki. NO NAME BLUES BAND tako sedaj predstavlja s svojim programom dogajanje na blues sceni zadnjih 20-tih let, kar pomeni, da goji zvrst sodobnega (kitarskega) bluesa, kot ga sprejemajo ljudje širom sveta.
V letošnjem letu se je skupina odločcila razširiti nastop in pripraviti t.i. akustičcno (unplugged) oz. »klubsko« varianto. S takšno obliko nastopa je skupini omogočceno nastopanje tudi na manjših odrih oz. v manjših prostorih, kar je v Sloveniji prej pravilo kot izjema.
V najnovejši obliki je slišati razgiban program sodobnega bluesa z nekaj klasičcnimi dodatki. Program temelji na akustičcni izvedbi, ki se občcasno razširi v mehkejšo električcno izvajanje – skratka blues v »klubski« obliki
